Description
This back-to back SHV connector connects with the standard ultrasound cable-mounted SHV connector to connect through a panel into an enclosure or make another SHV ultrasound cable into an extension cable.
This item comes with all you see in the photo: connector, silicone rubber gasket, lock washer and nut.
This connector can be mounted in a panel up to 0.341″ (8.6 mm) thick, and here is the hole you will need:
You will also need a 1/2 inch (13 mm) loop terminal connector (not sold by tributek) to ground the body of the connector directly to earth ground in the cabinet.
If using this item to create an extension cable, once the connections are made the entire connection including the connectors on the cables must be shrink-tubed or wrapped with electrical tape to prevent any connector body metal contact with people, machine frame, puddles, etc. The connector outer body is generally grounded by the cable shield, but prudence dictates the extra caution.
Maximum outside diameter at the center flange is 0.69″ (17.5mm) and overall length is 2″ (50.8 mm).
